Cognitive Psychology
Cognitive psychology assumes that a mediation process occurs between stimulus (input) and response (output). Computer analogy
is also proved to be very useful in case of cognitive psychology-the
use of the computational tools for thinking how the human mind handles
information is known as the computer analogy. Essentially, computer
codes information, stores information, utilize the acquired information,
and produce an output. Such idea of using computer as a tool was
adopted by cognitive psychologists as a model of how human thoughts
work.
